Got the border around the hearth done and put down some more rows. Ran into a snafu though. One of the boards on the end decided to warp a little over night so I glued a 1 footer to it and applied pressure. It'll have to set over night so that is the end of rows today. I also had to pull up a couple of rows because two joints were about 2" away from each other. Not only do I have to contend with board length, board color, but also width. Some boards are a 1/32" smaller than other ones. don't really notice until the next row goes down and a small crack is revealed...
