Sister Visit 2018 "Deadbolt"

My sisters, Ann and Barbara visited us at our home in Wonder. We also were visited by Ann's friend Shari, Ann's daughter Kris and Kris's husband Aaron Knopp. This year we visited the town of Jacksonville, toured the Wildlife Images, and rode the Hellgate jet boat. After all that Ann, Barbara, my wife Sue and I traveled up to my sister Mary's home to pick her up on our way to the coast. On the coast, we stayed at Tillamook, Seaside, and Newport.

This will be hard to explain. The official name of this trip is "Deadbolt". We were leaving one of the motel rooms and we filed toward the entrance when my sister Ann could not open the door. I tried and could not also. Then I noticed that there was a deadbolt a foot or so down from the top of the door. This was very odd. I put my hand up to notice that the deadbolt was engaged as seen in the crack between the door and the door jam. My first thought was bewilderment then the thought maybe we were locked in the room. When we discovered that we at the door that connected the two rooms and the correct door was on the other wall we broke down into gut wrenching laughter. You had to be there...
